Tamar Braxton is defending a message that she posted about Wendy Williams. This week, the singer and reality star wished the talk show host well, as she’s currently on hiatus to recover from Graves’ disease.

Responding to this news, Tamar penned a message on social media writing:

Sending #positivevibes to my girl @wendyshow ??????????????Get well soon sis! I’m thinking of you, praying for you and wishing you nothing but the best!! I can’t wait to see you back in YOUR chair shading, laughing, joking and being my talk show mentor- Sister that I love soo much! You’re a solider and since you already kick ass I know that this too you will tackle! #Getwellwendy ?

Apparently Tamar received some backlash over the message. She defended her message writing,

Dont talk just listen. EVERYONE gets talked about me and my family included!! Although we don’t like it its STILL JUST ENTERTAINMENT!! We ALL don’t always agree.. but the HUMAN we must respect! Even the fallen is shown compassion! What if it was you that was bought to your knees and everyone turned their face as if they didn’t see u hurting????? I’ve been there. And most of you have too! Don’t forget to remember where God has bought you from
