No matter how or what she says, I think people will try to invalidate her, call her “irrelevent” and tell her she better “take what she can get”….There is always going to be opposition.
that is the truth even still at some jobs in the healthcare field a black person has to have experience but a white person come from rite aide no healthcare experience gets the job and after awhile is moved up
And the worst part is, they will ask the black person how to do everything once they are moved up.
As someone who has been in corporate America for a long time, you are speaking absolute truth. A pale person may or may not have a degree and be upper/senior level management. Black people in those upper level positions are not only rare, but they are multiple degreed and often times OVER qualified and working under pale people with less experience and less education than them. The company I currently work for has one black man in management and he has a master’s degree. He is the ONLY manager with a master’s degree and that includes the 2 pale people he works under.
I know that there will be some one with clout and money that is going to see all dollars in taking a risk with Mo, and it is going to pay off BIG TIME. Remember this comment.
