Stacey Dash – People Are Already Donating To My Political Campaign!
Stacey Dash’s political campaign is off to a great start. This week, we spotted the “Clueless” actress submitting paperwork to officially run for public office.
The 51-year-old actress has launched a web site and is already receiving donations.
Dash also notes that while she may be a Hollywood star, she’s paid a heavy price for fame. She also says that if people want to bring up her past during the campaign, she has nothing to lose.
As previously reported, Dash plans to run as a Republican in California’s 44th Congressional District. Rep. Nanette Barragan (D-Calif.) currently represents the district. The congressional district contains the cities of Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach, and has been represented by a Democrat since the 2012 election.
