Ava DuVernay Hosts Screening For Compton Kids
Ava DuVernay recently showed her hometown city, Compton major love. The “A Wrinkle In Time” director asked Disney if the first public screening of the film could be in Compton.
Unfortunately, there are no theaters in the area, so Disney created a theater experience for the kids.
Compton’s mayor, Aja Brown, was also in attendance and helped plan the special event.
“A Wrinkle in Time” is scheduled to be released March 9, 2018.
