Usher Was Flirting w/ Tessa Thompson Before Announcing Split To Wife

The ink isn’t dry on the “separation” papers, but it’s rumored that Usher already has his eyes a new woman. According to a report, Usher was getting super flirty with Hollywood actress Tessa Thompson.

The two were both at the Los Angeles premiere of “Black Panther.” Sources claim that at the VIP after-party – at the Hollywood Roosevelt – no photogs were allowed and that’s where it was apparent that the singer was smitten with Tessa.

Allegedly, he was seen flirting with Tessa most of the night and followed her around all evening.

The alleged flirting happened on January 29th, prior to him and wife Grace Miguel announcing their split.

theJasmineBRAND broke the story – one of the reasons the couple allegedly split was that Grace, 46, wanted to have children via surrogate. Sources tell us that Usher, 39, with two children from ex wife Tameka Foster, didn’t want more children but, was open to adoption. Sources also tell us that the herpes accusations that he faced also allegedly put a ‘strain’ on their marriage.

Usher and Grace released a statement about their split stating,

After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.
