Common & Angela Rye Break Up

Common and Angela Rye have ended their relationship. Speculation of their split began after the political activist did not attend the 2018 Academy Awards with him and she did not attend many of the awards season events with him. Rye also confirmed that they broke up stating,

We have and will always be friends. He is an amazing human being, and I’m a much better person because he’s a part of my life. May we all keep loving and living.

The pair became public with their relationship last fall. Last November, they made headlines when it was reported that she was receiving more threats on social media, email, etc. since she began dating the rapper turned actor.

Prior to dating Rye, Common was rumored to be dating Regina Hall. No additional details about their split have been revealed.
