Masika Kalyshia Calls Woman ‘Black A** Female’, Denies Colorism
Masika Kalysha is under fire after her recent comments on social media. The former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star referred to an Instagram user that criticized her a ‘black a** female’.
Masika posted a photo (above) with her daughter and a user wrote,
I know why she look different she fix (sp) her lips.
To this, Masika responded,
It’s always a black a** female saying some hater sh*t loud and proud and wrong smhfh I fixed my lips? Ain’t sh*t to fix they’re perfect the way God made them maybe you should fix your brain. We used very little make up and nude lip gloss to mute my lips like you should muter yourself.
Masika also wrote,
wow you’re the biggest idiot in the comment section today donkey of the day goes to your black a**
After receiving some backlash about the comment, Masika posted the message below.

I gotta agree with Masika on this one!
She was simply saying “Black Ass” meaning its always one of our own “Black asses” that find something negative in each other all the time. I feel her. Now ones are trying to twist her words into meaning something different.
It’s not that offensive, but these celebrities are gonna learn when the “go in” they can’t just say anything, smh
Hmm, never heard her refer to any of the lighter women she’s always fighting with as “Light Ass”…
Stop reaching…I’ve never heard anyone being referred to as “light ass”, it usually more along the lines of pissed colored or something like that.
That’s the general point – never heard her use a “color” to refer to anyone she’s arguing with other than people who are dark … …#NotReaching
I’ve heard all black people, even mixed ones, be referred to as “black ass” regardless of their skin tone. And that’s even when one is referring to themselves. Example-“Let me get my black ass outta here.”
The point I’m making is she was arguing with someone so her “black ass” comment took on a negative connotation, which obviously had some looking at her sideways. Had she not made the comment in the situation that she did, the thread to this post wouldn’t exist…
These Instagram hoes….news flash you are BLACK TOOO. ignorant a.s.s
