Chris Stokes Prepping New Film ‘We Belong Together’ Starring Charles Malik Whitfield, Elise Neal & Draya Michele
Business is booming for Chris Stokes. After ending 2017 with a nationwide release of the thriller “Til Death Do Us Part” and a Top 10 Weekend Opening, Stokes is back directing. His latest project, “We Belong Together”, is the first of three movies that Stokes is slated to direct this year.
The new film stars Charles Malik Whitfield, Elise Neal and Draya Michele. “We Belong Together” is a “Fatal Attraction” style thriller about a college professor who bites off more than he can chew with a crazy student he gets involved with after his wife leaves him. The movie is set to release later this year.
theJasmineBRAND recently catch up with Stokes on set and when asked how he felt about his latest slate of films he explained,
I’m very excited that I will be doing these three movies this year and looking forward to other projects that I haven the works.
He continued,
My production company Footage Films is currently working on developing a few television series as well. You should hopefully being seeing those later this year as well!
