Kanye West Announces 2 New Albums – 1 Solo Album & Kid Cudi Joint Project
Last week, rap superstar Kanye West returned to Twitter after an 11-month hiatus. In his return to social media, he initially posted about fashion and philosophy. Speculation, however, has been running rampant about new G.O.O.D. Music projects, and on Thursday (April 19th) the “808 & Heartbreaks” rapper dropped several bombshells via Twitter.
West confirmed a seven track solo release will drop on June 1st. He also revealed an upcoming joint project with Kid Cudi. He tweeted,
It’s called Kids See Ghost. That’s the name of our group.
Back in November 2017, Kanye filed a trademark application for “Kids See Ghost,” and now it’s starting to all make sense. This upcoming release will be West’s first since 2016’s “The Life of Pablo.” As for last weeks tweets, Kanye posted they comprise a new philosophy book that he’s writing.
I will work on this ‘book’ when I feel it.
The G.O.O.D. Music CEO also announced Pusha T’s new album drops May 25. This project follows up 2016 “Darkest Before Dawn.” Teyana Taylor’s sophomore offering will be released June 22. She has only released one studio album, 2014’s “VII.”
