Trey Songz – No Charges Filed In Domestic Violence Case
Trey Songz can officially breathe a sigh of relief. According to reports, the 33-year-old singer will not be charged in his domestic assault case. Last month, the Los Angeles District Attorney rejected the felony case and on Friday, the Los Angeles City Attorney declined to file misdemeanor charges.
As previously reported, during NBA All Star Weekend in February, a woman named Andrea Buera claimed that the singer physically attacked her at a private party. She shared her allegations at a press conference stating,
I was attending an after party when Trey began yelling at me, choking at me … and ultimately knocked me to the ground.
She continued,
While I was on the ground, he continued punching me and did not stop until his security guard pulled him off me.
Songz has yet to comment about the dropped charges.
