EXCLUSIVE: Lisa Bloom – I’m Going To Teach 50 Cent A Lesson, He’s Going To Pay For What He Did To Teairra Mari
EXCLUSIVE: Lisa Bloom Has a Message For 50 Cent
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Teairra Mari’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, is speaking out about the revenge porn case that her client is preparing to file. The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star is represented by the celebrity attorney, along with attorney Walter Mosley. Teairra says that her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad posted a sex tape video of her on social media. She also calls out 50 Cent, who she says is friends with Akbar, for reposting the footage on his social media. Addressing her issue with 50 Cent, Bloom says,
I know that for some people the idea of a woman making choices about her own body is hard to understand. A New York jury had to hit 50 Cent with a $7 million verdict recently to teach him a lesson after he posted a revenge porn video of another woman. In that case two psychologists testified that the woman suffered from PTSD and was suicidal after what he did to her. Less than three years later, 50 Cent is at it again, posting an explicit image of Teairra with his caption, “get the strap,” which encourages violence against her.
Bloom continues,
Apparently 50 Cent’s misogyny and ego are so inflated that he still needs to be schooled that the law applies to him just like everyone else. I look forward to getting this case before a Los Angeles jury so that it can deliver that lesson to him. We will be seeking a significant punitive damages award to help drive that lesson home to him since he has such trouble understanding it.
