Lil Tay’s Mother Defends Daughter’s Behavior: It’s Just Entertainment, She’s Well-Behaved
Lil Tay (the “internet’s youngest flexer,” as she calls herself), 9-year-old social media star, and her mother, Angela Tian, made an appearance on Good Morning America this week to lay the rumors of Lil Tay faking her lifestyle to rest.
The rambunctious kid, known for using profanity, throwing money, and sitting in luxury cars while wearing designer threads, sat down with Good Morning America to discuss how her facade is “all for entertainment” and she’s “really a great, well-behaved kid,” according to her mother.
Lil Tay said about her behavior,
People think it’s funny, I guess, ‘cause I’m nine years old and I’ve accomplished so much. I’m the youngest flexer. I can do anything I like. If they don’t believe me, I don’t care.
She also insisted that her mother isn’t trying to make money off of her.
No one’s forcing me to do this. It’s not true that [her mother] wants to make money off me … This is my decision. I’m happy with what I’m doing.

Just last week, Lil Tay broke character just long enough to post a video crying about “letting her mom down,” and “just wanting to accomplish her dreams.”
