Beauty Blogger Huda Kattan Lands Reality Series ‘Huda Boss’
Makeup artist and beauty blogger Huda Kattan is bringing her beauty brand of to the small screen. Huda Boss will follow Kattan as she navigates the obstacles faced when running a family owned business, both good and bad.
The ten episode series will premiere on Facebook Watch in June, with new episodes availiable every Tuesday. Kattan, who is the CEO of the Dubai-based “Huda Beauty,” runs the company with the help of her husband Chris and sisters, Mona and Alya. The company has quickly gained international success in the last five years. Kattan, 34, said in a statement,
We have had so much fun filming the show and can’t wait for people to get an inside look at our business and our sometimes-crazy family!
When “Huda Beauty” began as a blog in 2010, Facebook was the first platform she launched on, she explained,
It was, and continues to be, a very important platform for the brand, and together with Instagram, has really helped grow our business.
Kattan, has 25.4 million followers on Instagram (owned by Facebook) and “Huda Beauty” boasts 4.8 million Facebook followers.
Huda Boss is set to premiere June 12th at 9 a.m. PT. In addition to the show, Huda will be hosting a live question and answer session with fans as well as sharing her makeup tricks via Facebook Live.
