As previously reported, Ice Cube confirmed that “Last Friday,” was being worked on:
We’re working on one right now. We’re gonna call it Last Friday.
His son, “Straight Outta Compton’s” breakout actor, O’Shea Jackson, Jr., and rising comedian DC Young Fly teased their own remake of the classic film.
The original film, released in 1995, spawned two sequels – “Next Friday” with Mike Epps in 2000, and “Friday After Next” in 2002. Both Epps and John Witherspoon have been spotted on set for the latest installment.
