Lil’ Uzi Vert & Rich the Kid Almost Come to Blows Inside Starbucks
“New Freezer” rapper, Rich the Kid and Lil’ Uzi Vert got into a physical altercation over the weekend in Philadelphia.
The timeline of what transpired before the violent disagreement is uncertain, but multiple videos help tell the story. Reports claim the “XO TOUR LIF3” artist pinpointed Rich’s location and followed up with a proposal to get physical.
A video surfaced captures Rich (real name Dimitri Leslie Roger) being heavily protected by his entourage on the corner of a street, and Uzi (real name Symere Woods) can be seen standing opposite of Roger, trying to have a discussion. When asked why Woods came to Roger on hostile conditions, Woods can be heard saying, “It don’t matter! Why you acting crazy? I don’t have nothing to say, bro. Let’s do it!”
Another video captures how the altercation was moved to the inside of a local Starbucks. After punches are thrown, Roger can be seen hopping over the counter to safety. Fans also followed Woods on video as he ran down the street chasing after Rich.
Following the dispute, Rich the Kid took to social media to share a video of him taunting Uzi while displaying his diamond necklaces and watches. He says, “N*ggas pulled up and did what,” as he zooms in on the camera, highlighting the jewels in his watch, “Walk around Philly like this!”
Uzi has moved past the drama. A video of him was captured over the weekend when he was in the club vibing to Rich the Kid’s hit single, “New Freezer” less than 24 hours of the initial altercation.
According to reports, the pair have had a longstanding beef with each other. Both rappers have taken shots at one another through their music. In Roger’s video, “Dead Friends,” he allegedly buried a Lil’ Uzi Vert. Last month, Uzi was approached and asked about his beef with Rich, simply stating, “Bless Rich The Kid and his whole family and stuff.”
