Nipsey Hussle Slaps BET Employee, Arrested At BET Awards [VIDEO]
Nipsey Hussle (real name Ermias Asghedom) was arrested Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. The 32-year-old rapper reportedly slapped a BET employee at the BET Awards.
Footage surfaced of what appears to be a verbal disagreement between Nipsey and an employee. Reportedly, the incident took place at the talent drop-off area at the venue.
In the clip, Nipsey walks toward the employee. A second man, Nipsey’s bodyguard, has a cone in his hand. The employee appears to smack the cone out of Nipsey’s bodyguard’s hand and Nipsey appears to smack the employee in the face.

A security guard apprehends Nipsey, holding him away from the employee.
According to multiple reports, Nipsey was then arrested. Reportedly, the entire situation allegedly started when Nipsey’s team wanted to remove the cones in a restricted area, as the rapper was late for rehearsal. Nipsey has yet to comment on the situation.
