Khloe Kardashian Apologizes for Using “R” Word [VIDEO]
Khloe Kardashian Apologizes for Using Word R*t*rd
Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian is under fire for using an insensitive word during an Instagram live session. Fans and critics immediately called the 34-year-old reality star out for using the word “ret*rded.” It is widely known that this word is insensitive to people with disabilities and is sometimes loosely and carelessly used to describe something unsatisfactory or malfunctioning.
In the Instagram live video, Khloe and her sister Kourtney Kardashian are trying to connect their smartphones for a workout session. Khloe can be heard telling Kourtney:
Yes, you can, you f*cking r*tard.
She continued using the word while they tried to configure their phones, saying:
Are you f*cking r*tarded?
A Twitter user took to social media to hold Khloe accountable. She said:
I was watching your livestream on Instagram until you said the “r” word. You should pay more attention to your word choices especially since you have a huge following&don’t know who you could be offending. If True had a disability you would use a different word. @khloelardashian
Khloe replied apologetically. She said:
Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that? You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry! much love today
Was Kardashian’s apology enough to make up for her insensitive word choice?”
