Michelle Williams Spotted For 1st Time Since Checking Into Mental Health Facility, Celebrates B-Day w/ Fiance
Fresh off of her 38th birthday, Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams was all smiles with her fiancé, Pastor Chad Johnson. This week, photogs spotted the couple in Los Angeles wearing all black. This is the first spotting of Michelle since she announced she had checked herself into a mental health facility for treatment for depression.
As we previously reported, after years of openly sharing her struggles with depression, Michelle announced she had entered treatment in a Los Angeles mental health facility. She said:
For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing. Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need.
Michelle recently updated family, friends, and fans of her condition on social media. She posted an Instagram story that read:
I feel the (heart emoji)! I just wanted to let you guys know I’m better!
