The journey to becoming a blended family has been surprising, fulfilling, and a huge blessing. With my co-parents @therealswizzz & @aliciakeys by my side we’ve raised our voices to help generations of families worldwide. I’ve been working on this book project for many years and it has truly been a labor of love and purpose. I’m so honored to share our story and the stories of other parents striving to blend. The book is on sale October 2 and is available for pre-order now. I can’t wait for you to read my blueprint, it’s a toolbox and a life map for humanity. Thank you to @penguinrandomhouse and @tarcherperigee for believing in me. Mashonda co-authored a book on co-parenting, titled Blend: The Secret to Co-Parenting and Creating a Balanced Family (2018), with contributions from co-parents Beatz and Keys.

Throughout the years, Mashonda has spoken openly about her co-parenting challenges, while admitting it took her some time to become adjusted to their blended family.

To date, the trio (Mashonda, Swizz and Alicia) have moved past the drama, focusing on their children and family.

Sources tell us that the goal of the show – which is still untitled – is to help families who are having a hard time co-parenting with one another. We’re told that the show will be similar to Iyanla: Fix My Life, a popular OWN show where life coach Iyanla Vanzant helps people
repair their damaged families. A source says,

Publicly, Mashonda went through a lot and she’s come out on the other side having not only a better relationship with Alicia and Swizz, but their son has benefited. She wants to help other parents and families who are going through the same thing.

We’re told that the show will feature an ensemble cast of celebrity parents including Mashonda (who will also serve as an executive producer) actor Malik Yoba, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex Misa Hylton who shares a son with the music mogul and more.

No additional details have yet been released.
