Sheree Whitfield Sees A Future w/ Jailed Boyfriend, But Isn’t Holding Her Breath: I’m Not Marrying Anyone In Prison
Although Sheree Whitfield will no longer be Real Housewives of Atlanta, she has no plans on giving up in the love department. Whitfield has shared new details about her rumored boyfriend, Tyrone Gilliams, and the future of their relationship. Gilliams is currently serving a 10 year prison sentence due to him being convicted of stealing $5 million in wire fraud schemes. Towards the end of the eleventh season, Whitfield shared Gilliams was expected to be released in 2020, but until then, she’s keeping her options open. She confessed,
“I mean he would love to marry me right now, but I am not marrying someone who is in prison. I am keeping my options open”.
Although she’s keeping her options open she also says she met a couple of men she’s interested in, but none of them have been able to stick.
“I meet people all the time and the crazy thing is, no one has been able to hold my attention or grab it. No one has been able to get in my mind and my head.”
Accountability is apparently a big deal breaker in their relationship also. Whitfield concluded that although she would love to be with him, she isn’t holding her breath,
“He is still around, but I say at the same time, I love him and I have said it before, if he comes home and I am still available and everything is great, what he is doing and what he says he is going to do, then absolutely I can see a future.”
Whitfield and Gilliams are longtime friends who lost contact once Gilliams went to prison. According to the former reality star, the two reconnected almost
“two or two and a half years ago.”
As previously reported, the reality star will not be returning to the RHOA franchise after stating that she felt as if she was “slapped in the face” if she accepted a friend role.
