Eminem Releases Surprise “Kamikaze” Album
Is it Christmas? It must be because the self-proclaimed rap god, Eminem, has released his tenth studio album with no promotion – Beyonce-style. The 13-track album is called “Kamikaze. A Kamikaze is defined as:
A [World War II] Japanese aircraft loaded with explosives and making a deliberate suicidal crash on an enemy target.
And just like the bombs in World War II, Eminem dropped his album announcement on Twitter around midnight. He said:
Tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy. #KAMIKAZE Out Now – http://shady.sr/Kamikaze

The album artwork, as well as the exclusive merch, features an exploding plane with Japanese writing, consistent with the Kamikaze theme. Eminem revealed the merch on his Instagram story:

Just like a bomb, Slim Shady dropped this album with plans to destroy a few of his fellow rappers. “Genius” writer Andres Tardio revealed some of the lyric’s to Em’s new song, “The Ringer,” where he name-drops and disses a few rappers. Per Andres’ Twitter, Eminem rapped:
“‘I can see why people like Lil Yachty
But not me, though
Not even dissing, it just ain’t for me
All I am, simply, is just an MC
Maybe ‘Stan’ just isn’t your cup of tea
Maybe your cup full of syrup and lean.”
– Eminem, ‘The Ringer'”

He continued, aiming at mumble rappers:
“‘Lil Pump, Lil Xan imitate Lil Wayne / I should aim at everybody in the game, pick a name / I’m fed up with being humble / And rumor is I’m hungry, I’m sure you heard rumblings / I heard you wanna rumble…I heard your mumbling, but it’s jumbled in mumbo-jumbo.’ – Eminem”

Lastly, Eminem returns to using a controversial word that left him in hot water with GLAAD almost two decades ago – the f-word.
“‘If you’re gonna critique me, you better at least be as good or better / Get Earl the Hooded Sweater, whatever his name is to put together some words, more than just two letters.’ He also uses and censors the F word/slur during this verse.”

Rapper Doja Cat came under fire for using the same word and her new career was threatened to be canceled by fans. Will Eminem face the same scrutiny?
Eminem’s “Kamikaze” is available for streaming now.
