Swizz Beatz Checks Fan For Assuming He Doesn’t Treat His Ex-Wife With Respect, Jill Scott & Tyrese May Have Shaded Their Exes

Swizz Beatz checked an Instagram fan who attempted to take his message of support for his wife Alicia Keys as an invitations to bring up his past marriage to Mashonda. The super producer is currently on a family vacation in Egypt and has been sharing his adventures on social media. In a particular photo with his wife, Swizz urged his male counterparts to be supportive of their wives even if they’re more successful.

“Attention all MEN?? You shouldn’t be jealous or upset if you have a Queen that’s successful, Smarter or better than you! What you should do is thank the most high or step your game up! I can’t stand when I see brothers jealous of the lady they’re with that shit is very weak!!!!! #Realtalk Lady’s keep doing you!”

While many were receptive to Swizz’s message of support of women, an Instagram user by the name of @trozenberg decided to question if Swizz is consistent in the art of uplifting women when it comes to Mashonda Tifrere,  his ex-wife and mother of his oldest child.

Under Swizz’s post, Trozenberg commented:

“That’s correct but do you honor, respect, value, and treat all of your children’s mothers with
this level of respect? Are they all not Queens as well? They bore your children. I mean no disrespect at all when I say this, but I have never seen you show praise to ALL of them. Sean Combs does.”

To that, Swizz responded:

“I guess that’s why my ex is in Egypt with us now. Let’s do our research before we [nosey eye emoji]”

Ironically, just a few days prior, Swizz posted a photo of both Alicia and Mashonda with him in Egypt, along with their children and Swizz’s mother.

A couple of Swizz’s celebrity friends agreed with his caption, including Tyrese and Jill Scott. Tyrese, who is currently expecting a baby with his second wife and a major meltdown in 2017 while going through a custody battle with his first, affirmed,

“The realest of talk!!!! My Wife has clearly took me up on so many levels – queens out here KINGING!!!!!”

Jill Scott, who’s dealing with a messy divorce of her own, offered her two cents stating,

“Thank you for saying that. It’s a real dry spell when jealousy appears.”

Scott’s potentially shady comments come as no surprise considering the drama with her estranged husband, Michael Dobson. The singer was recently ordered to pay almost $50,000 in order to absolve Dobson of any debt owed on his Mercedes Benz. Scott was also granted a restraining order which outlined he would not be allowed to talk to the media about their divorce, and in return, she would not be allowed to either.
