Lamar Odom Denies Being Held for Ransom: “This is bulls*t”

NBA All-Star Lamar Odom has had enough drama over the past few years to star in his own one-man soap opera. However, he wants the world to know that he has not been held for ransom over an unpaid debt. Lamar posted a screenshot of a Radar Online headline that reads:

“Lamar In Danger: Odom Kidnapped & Held Hostage By Bookies For Gambling Debt”

Lamar explained in the caption that he’s often baffled at the outrageous stories that are reported about him. He said:

“@lamarodom @radargram i also got lost in a rabbit hole together with my kidnapers, rapunzel and the 7 dwarfs saved me ! We all lived happily ever after. Can you please add this to the story ? Don’t leave out the juicy facts this bullshit makes me wanna start my own gossip online platform and report stories only about me. What y’all think?”

We previously reported, Radar Online reported that he had relapsed with his gambling addiction – resulting in he, his daughter, and his daughter’s mother Savanna Waldrop being held at gunpoint. Lamar Odom was allegedly kidnapped for owing bookies over $10,000. The source who tipped Radar off told the outlet this about Lamar’s trip to visit his daughter. Savanna reportedly loaned him money to pay the bookies back:

“Savanna set up the loan and Lamar knew he had to pay it back no matter what. The bookies had no idea someone famous like Lamar didn’t have the cash to pay them back. Within 20 minutes the $10,000 was gone. He gambled it all — and lost!”

They added:

“Within 24 hours the bookies were harassing them, following them to their Airbnb and hotel, and waiting for them in the parking lot,” said the source. It got so bad, they threatened Savanna and her daughter with a gun and said they’d kill her. They kicked in the hotel door and came in with guns when they were all in bed.”

Odom recently returned to basketball, now playing in a professional Chinese league.
