Kim Kardashian’s Insurance Company Sues Body Guard For $6 Mill Over Paris Robbery
A lawsuit has been filed against the security guard who was responsible for protecting Kim Kardashian the night she was tied up and robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel in 2016.
Kim’s insurance company is suing Pascal Duvier and the company he works for, PROTECTSECURITY, for the $6.1 million payout they had to give Kim for the jewelry that was stolen on the night of October 3, 2016.
On the night of the robbery, Kim opted to stay in while her sisters, Kourtney and Kendell, went to a nearby club. Pascal went to the club with the sisters, but according to Kim’s insurance company, did not do his due diligence in ensuring that Kim was safe before he left. The suit says there were a number of security breaches at the hotel that Pascal failed to correct. He also failed to identify that the hotel was missing a lock and the intercom to the door was not functioning.

Kim has already been paid through an insurance claim. Her insurance company, AIG, now wants their money back from the negligent security.
