Blac Chyna Says Drake Is Responsible For Her Fame, Not Kardashians: I Was A Celebrity Back In DC, Then Miami & Now LA! + Making $15k In One Night As A Stripper

In a new interview, Blac Chyna (real name Angela Renee White) opens up about her life before becoming a household name. The 30-year-old, who shares a daughter (Dream) with Rob Kardashian and son (King Cairo) with Tyga, tells Daily Mail TV that she began stripping after graduating high school in 2006.

You know I had a body, [so] why not. I wanted some money and I wanted to have nice things. Within two years I had two cars, I had a dog.

I was paying for my grandma, my mom, doing all this stuff, buying nice clothes. I ended up getting my own place. A two bedroom condo.’

Her plans were to attend Johnson & Wales University to study business management. Chyna said in the back of her mind she knew her college acceptance letter had a two-year standing, so she decided to drive herself down to Florida to enroll. She continued to dance, to pay her way through college and worked at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami. Chyna says that in one night she made as much as $15,000 – all in ones.

I had hosted a party. [There were] chicken bones, blunt wraps and all types of nastiness, wet dollars. It was fun, but it was disgusting. I counted it up and was like really grateful for that night.’

Chyna began dancing and continued to dance when she moved down to Miami for college, which led to her meeting with Drake and helped her get discovered.

I actually had a booking and I think it was in Tennessee. These guys introduced me to Drake, and Drake you know put me in a song and I started doing all the music videos and the magazines.

Drake mentions Chyna in his 2010 song Miss Me, rapping:

‘Call up King of Diamonds and tell Chyna it’ll be worth the flight // I be at my table stackin’ dollars till the perfect height.’

Chyna met Tyga, as he and Drake were on the same music label at the time.

They later had a son.

In terms of becoming a public figure, Chyna does not credit her connections to Rob Kardashian (whom she had a daughter with) and his famous family.

‘I was already famous before then. I already was [a celebrity], even back in D.C., I took over that, went to Miami and I was a celebrity down there. Came to LA, same thing. I kind of ran all three states and I’m actually kind of proud of that. I would consider myself a celebrity, which is like a celebrated person. So, it’s up to you to make me this person.’

Chyna also opens up about launching a music career.

My music is actually kind of fire. I have a little bit of singing, a little bit of rapping and I have a little love song. We are just testing it out right now. I’m not about to throw myself out there. [I want to] make sure everything is in line.’

Chyna also says she’d love to get in the studio with Drake.

I’d be like Drake, you put me on that first time, maybe we could do a little 2.0. I would love that.
