Jailed Love & Hip Hop Star Mendeecees Harris Shares New Photo w/ Son

Love & Hip Hop’s Mendeecees Harris Shares New Photo With Mendeecees Jr.
Mendeecees Harris, who made multiple appearances on earlier seasons of Love & Hip Hop with his significant other Yandy Smith, has been in jail since 2016, serving an 8-year sentence in federal prison for drug trafficking.
Two years into his sentence, Mendeecees has shared a photo of himself alongside his eldest son, Mendeecees Jr. On October 8th, Mendeecees posted the photo with “Little Mendeecees” to celebrate his 13th birthday.
“Little Mendeecees” is the son of Mendeecees and Samantha Wallace and also appeared in Love & Hip Hop briefly. He did not appear in the show’s 7th season, but the drama between his mother and Yandy was still heavily part of the storyline. The caption for the photo of Mendeecees and his namesake read:
Happy birthday My Little big man Lol I’m so proud of you and grateful for u understanding these circumstances and being forgiven.. love u #always
The photo was taken on June 17th and shows Mendeecees wearing a green prison uniform. He has roughly 5 years left on his sentence after already serving 15 months in jail prior to his sentencing. His appeal to reduce his prison sentence was shut down earlier this year.
