Meghan Markle Is Pregnant!

A royal baby is on the way! Prince Harry (34) and Meghan Markle (37) are expecting their first child together. On Monday, Kensington Palace confirmed the news:

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.

The pair, who began dating in July 2016, married five months ago (on May 19th). Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, issued a statement via Kensington Palace, saying:

“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”

The palace also says that Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are “delighted” for the couple — as are Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Congrats to them!
