Tyler Perry Plans To Kill Madea: It’s Time For Me To Kill That Old B*tch
In an interview with Sirius XM, Tyler Perry revealed that he’s finally ready to lay his Madea character to rest. According to Perry, his infamous Madea character will make her final appearance in his forthcoming film, Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral, 14 years after making her film debut in 2005’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman.
This is it. It’s time for me to kill that old b***h. I’m tired! We’re gonna say goodbye in ’19. I just don’t want to be her age playing her.”
Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral is set to hit theaters on March 1, 2019. This film will mark the eighth Tyler Perry film featuring Madea. Perry also says that before he gets rid of Madea completely, he plans to take her character on a stage tour featuring appearances from the original characters and actors from past Madea films.
