Quvenzhané Wallis Lands Recurring Role In Black-Ish
Young actress Quvenzhané Wallis has just snagged a recurring role on the ABC comedy, Black-Ish. Wallis will take on the role as Kyra, the younger cousin of Dre Johnson (Anthony Anderson). Kyra comes to live with Dre and his family after her mother is no longer able to take care of her. She makes her debut in 2019.
Wallis shared her excitement on social media. In an Instagram post, she wrote,
WE LITTTTTT???. I can’t wait for y’all to see. Make sure to watch the show and catch up, so that when i show up you not lost or confused
The 15-year-old actress won her first Oscar at the age of 9 years old. She’s starred in such films as Beats of the Southern Wild, Sony’s remake of Annie, 12 Years a Slave and Trolls. She also wrote a series of children’s books based on best friends Shai and Emmie.
