Floyd Mayweather Returns To The Ring, Fighting Kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa In Japan
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is returning to the ring with plans to fight Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa at the end of the year. The format for the fight has not been confirmed but this could possibly be Mayweather’s first MMA fight.
When discussing the upcoming bout, Floyd says,
I wanted to do something different. I wanted to display my skills outside the US and be in a special fight. I want to give the people what they want — blood, sweat, and tears.
Both Mayweather and Nasukawa share perfect records. Mayweather is 50-0 in boxing while Nasukawa, at just 20 years old, is 27-0 in kickboxing and 4-0 in MMA. The fight will go down on New Year’s Eve in Japan. Will you be tuning in?
