Rihanna Sends Cease & Desist Letter To Trump – I’m Not Affiliated With Him!
Rihanna was serious when she tweeted she would be taking action against Donald Trump for using her music at his rally in Chattanooga, TN. Last weekend, a reporter cited Rihanna’s hit song “Don’t Stop the Music” was being played at the rally. In a tweet, the beauty mogul affirmed her music won’t be playing at his rallies “much longer.”

New reports confirm she informed her legal team of the misuse and immediately issued a cease and desist letter to Trump and his administration.
The letter read,
It has come to our attention that President Trump has utilized [Rihanna’s] musical compositions and master recordings, including her hit track ‘Don’t Stop the Music,’ in connection with a number of political events held across the United States. As you are or should be aware, Ms. Fenty has not provided her consent to Mr. Trump to use her music. Such use is therefore improper. Trump’s unauthorized use of Ms. Fenty’s music creates a false impression that Ms. Fenty is affiliated with, connected to or otherwise associated with Trump.
Rihanna isn’t the first artist to halt her music being played by Trump. Pharrell Williams recently issued a similar letter to Trump, in addition to the Prince estate.
