Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.) is officially telling his life story!

The 47-year-old rapper, actor and producer is reportedly prepping a biopic.

In an interview with midday host Vic Jagger of Magic 102.3/92.7, Snoop shares that the project is in the development phases, but director Ryan Coogler and producer/director Lee Daniels are reportedly involved.

Snoop is the latest A-lister to have his life story told on screen. The hit film Straight Out of Compton sparked a plethora of interest in new biopics. No further details about the biopic have been released.

In other news, Snoop is currently starring in his stage play, Redemption Of A Dog.
