Amidst the saddening news among the media on Thursday, Gabrielle Union-Wade and husband Dwayne Wade shared they had a baby via a surrogate. The married couple shared the news on Instagram along with a thread of photos holding their newborn. Union-Wade captioned her photo,

A LOVELY DAY (!) We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin @dwyanewade

The baby girl, which was born on Wednesday (Nov. 7th), was a secret to many, as no one publically knew the couple were expecting a little one. In the past, Union-Wade has confessed she’s suffered multiple miscarriages, but was satisfied with being a mother to Dwayne’s children conceived from previous relationships.

This will be the couple’s first child together. Dwayne has three sons Zaire, Zion and Xavier.
