Viola Davis Signs A Film Deal With Amazon Studios
Viola Davis will be creating new content for Amazon thanks to the newly inked film deal her production company has signed.
JuVee Productions, the company owned by Viola and her husband Julius Tennon, has reportedly signed a first look deal with Amazon Studios which will allow them to produce films for the streaming service. Viola joins the likes of Jordan Peele and Nicole Kidman over at Amazon.
In a joint statement, Davis and Tennon say:
JuVee Productions is beyond excited about our new relationship with Amazon Studios. We share the same vision of creating a vast and rich array of narratives that are inclusive and reflective of our world. We started this company with a fierce commitment to integrity and the encouragement of emerging and/or established artists who have the courage and talent to be disruptors. We are thrilled that we can continue to share our vision on a global scale alongside Amazon Studios. It is our legacy.
Congrats on making new moves!
