‘Power’ Crew Member Killed in On-Set Accident [Condolences]
Very sad news. According to reports, a crew member on the Starz series Power was killed early Monday. after being struck by a car in New York.
63-year-old Pedro Jimenez, was struck by a car in New York. Reportedly, he was working as a production assistant and setting up traffic cones about 4:30 a.m. ET Monday, prepping for a location shoot in Brooklyn. He is said to have died after being hit by an SUV. Starz said in a statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of the members of our Power family. Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez’s family as we work to fully understand what has happened.”
According to reports, production on the series has temporarily shut down. Condolences to Pedro’s family and friends.
