Wendy Williams Postpones Return To Talk Show For 2nd Time, Panel Will Host In Her Absence
Wendy Williams is postponing her return to her talk show, for a second time. Last week, she announced on social media that she was taking additional time off and would return January 14th.
However, she will not return until Jan 21st.
We hear that the ‘Wendy Show’ will resume on Monday, with a panel of “Hot Talkers” who will entertain viewers in the host’s absence. Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said in a statement,
“As she has for the past 10 years, Wendy delivers an incomparable live talk show day in and day out and we want to give her the best opportunity to heal and recover. Wendy has our complete and unwavering support and we look forward to her return to the iconic purple chair.”
Wendy is currently out, recovering from an injury. Last month, she released a statement, explaining her ‘less than stellar’ behavior during her Dec. 20th show.
“The Wendy Williams Show” is currently in its 10th season.
