21 Savage Has Been On Lockdown For 23 Hours, Management Says Rapper Doesn’t Need Money To Help W/ Deportation Case
How many questions do we have about 21 Savage‘s ICE situation? A lot. 21 Savage’s manager, Slaughter Gang Meezy is done with false stories being attached to his client’s name regarding why and how he was detained by ICE. He took to social media to clear a few things up:
1) Despite the call to action from Quality Control CEO, Pee, money for legal representation isn’t an issue.
Meezy posted this message to his Instagram profile:
“All the love is appreciated
But money is last of our worries AWARENESS & SUPPORT is what we need!
P a real one for speaking up & thank you!
Be vocal! This is a issue a lot of people go through that you may never know & god forbid they have to go through”

2) The legitimacy of his paperwork is a non-factor.
Slaughter Gang Meezy had to correct an Instagram user when they insinuated that 21 Savage’s management team didn’t prevent him from being detained. @rashard_mmi commented:
“As management y’all should have made sure his paper work was together, unless this is news to y’all too. Right all the millions he’s made and his U.S citizenship isn’t together Smh … it’s definitely not funny, but who’s to blame for this …”
Meezy responded:
“@rashard_mmi f*ck you I don’t owe you sh*t when u get a client with something going on then u can speak…”

3) 21 Savage moved to Atlanta way prior to his teenaged years.
Meezy confirmed that he and 21 attended the same elementary school in Atlanta.

4) Many are using 21’s situation to prove that they’re connected to him.
In a now deleted tweet, Meezy said that he’d spoken to Savage and he had been on lockdown for 23 hours of the day with no TV and very little communication.
Both Meezy and 21 Savage’s mother, Heather, took to social media to address naysayers and hanger-on’s.
