Spike Lee

As previously reported, Spike Lee was one of the first to call into effect for a boycott against the fashion brand, asking for more black designers to be hire to avoid racial issues. He wrote on social media,

It’s Obvious To Da Peoples That They Don’t Have A Clue When It Comes To Racist, Blackface Hateful Imagery. WAKE UP. Ya-Dig? Sho-Nuff. And Dat’s Da “Coonery And Buffoonery” Truth,Ruth.

The Atlanta rapper calls into an action plan for the boycott. In an recent post, his post gives 3 major steps for his boycott. For step number one, Tip plans to stop all Gucci purchases for the next 3 months. Next, he plans to leave all Gucci apparel in his closet, including clothing, handbags, belts, shoes, cologne, and perfume. His last plan to action is that he wants those who are joining the boycott to share with their followers.

Will you join Lee and T.I. in their boycott of Gucci? Let us know in the comments!
