Not only can actress/singer work a sexy dress, the 49-year-old dancer, Jennifer Lopez is on her way to becoming an expert on the pol.

This week, she was spotted prepping for an upcoming role during a recent rehearsal for the new movie, Hustlers.

Lopez, who plays a stripper in the upcoming role, bands together with a group of fellow strippers, seeking revenge on their clients.

In a video posted by Alex Rodriguez, Lopez wore a black sports bra and shorts as she watched herself work the pole, then strikes a pose to The Time of My Life, from the 1987 movie, Dirty Dancing.

To add to her pole-dancing preparations for the upcoming role, Lopez shares a recent workout, adding the caption:

“Working on strength training for my new movie.”

Along with her training, Lope details how her trainer suggested a new 10-day, no-sugar, no-carbs diet. She tells Ellen,

“He said, ‘You know what, let’s do something, let’s take it up a notch. I’ve been working out, I work out a lot, I try to stay healthy. And he’s like, ‘Let’s do something to move the needle a little bit. Not only do you get a headache, but you feel like you’re in an alternate reality or universe. Like you don’t feel like yourself. You realize that you’re addicted to sugar.”
