UPDATE: Rapper Nipsey Hussle Dies After Being Shot In Front Of His L.A. Store [VIDEO]
Sad news this evening! Rapper Nipsey Hussle has passed away. Reports confirmed the Victory Lap rapper died after he was shot six times just outside of his store in Los Angeles. He was 33-years-old. Police also say that Hussle, who’s real name is Ermias Asghedom, was one of three others shot in the incident. The other two men are in serious condition, according to NBC News. Authorities are still in search of the alleged suspect, as it was reported that a man was spotted fleeing the scene after gunshots were fired. Nearby witnesses said they heard the commotion. Hussle received CPR shortly after the incident.

His store is located L.A.’s Hyde Park neighborhood, just south of Crenshaw.
He posted a cryptic tweet just before the shooting.

While he has gang-related ties in L.A., specifically the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, fans have seen the softer side of Hussle during his relationship with actress Lauren London.

The two were recently featured on GQ’s The Couples Quiz.
They had a two-year-old child together. He also has a daughter, Emani, who attended the Grammy Awards with him and London this year.

London hasn’t spoken out about the tragedy yet.
While his career spans over 10 years, it seemed as if he was getting his major moment when his Victory Lap album was nominated for a Grammy for Rap Album Of The Year this year. He also has at least four mixtapes that he’s released over his career and released 10 independent projects before his first album, which was distributed via All Money In, which is his own record label, and also Atlantic Records.
Please keep Nipsey’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
