UPDATE: Brittney Taylor Hit W/ Restraining Order – Remy Ma Accuser Brittney Taylor Charged With Assault After Fight With Roommate

UPDATE: As a result of her alleged assault against her roommate, Brittney Taylor has officially been hit with a restraining order. A New York judge signed off on the order that stipulates Taylor must stay away from the alleged victim and also turn over in firearms in her possession. The temporary restraining order will remain in effect until December 14th.

Love & Hip Hop star Brittney Taylor has recently been charged with assault stemming from a fight with her roommate—months after Taylor filed her own assault charges against fellow co-star Remy Ma.

Back in late April, Brittney Taylor went public with her claims that Remy Ma physically assaulted her while the two were backstage before a performance. Weeks later, Remy was officially hit with four charges in the case, putting her newfound freedom and parole in jeopardy.

Now, in the strangest turn of events, Taylor herself has been charged with assault after an argument with her roommate reportedly turned physical. According to reports, Taylor was arrested on June 14^th after a fight broke out in her Manhattan apartment between her and her roommate, Dina. Local law enforcement says that during Taylor and Dina’s argument, Taylor allegedly scratched her leaving visible marks, but things didn’t end there.

Taylor is then said to have gotten on the elevator to chase down her roommate in the lobby—and the fight continued on. Witnesses say that Taylor allegedly threw her cellphone and hit Dina in the head with it. Taylor was arrested a short time later by NYPD and charged with assault and aggravated harassment. She was reportedly promptly released on bond for both misdemeanor offenses.

According to Taylor’s attorney, she is set to head to court next month to face the charges against her. Meanwhile, her case against Remy Ma continues.
