Condolences: Popular YouTuber Etika Dead Found Dead

Very sad news. The New York Police announced on Tuesday, that a body was pulled from the East River and has been identified as the missing YouTuber, Etika (real name Desmond Amofah). He had been missing since last week. According to the NYDP, Amofah was last heard from last Wednesday, June 19th when he vanished after posting a shocking video to his channel were he appeared to express suicidal thoughts. The following day, police asked the public for assistance in locating him.

Amofah was described as a black 29-year-old, approximately six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.

Prior to his body being found, police discovered a backpack and phone believed to belong to Amofah near the Manhattan Bridge. The NYPD says on Tuesday following Amofah body being found,

”We regret to inform that Desmond Amofah Alan Wtika has been found deceased.”

According to reports, in April fans started to become concerned after he live streamed a heated encounter with the NYPD after cops responded to his apartment for another suicide threat.
