‘Pose’ Director Janet Mock Allegedly Dating Actor Angel B Curiel Who Plays ‘Lil Papi’ On Series

It looks like romance is still heating up behind the scenes of FX’s Pose. Janet Mock, who is a director, writer and co-executive producer of the series is allegedly dating actor Angel Bismark Curiel, who plays Lil Papi on the hit show. The two are rumored to have been going strong for about a year.

They already made their red carpet debut together.

Mock fed speculation that she and Curiel were an item when she posted a snapshot of her posing poolside in Miami Beach. But it was the caption that turned heads too.

She also tagged Curiel in the photo.

The next day Curiel shared his own poolside photo from the same Miami Beach spa. While he didn’t tag Mock, she made sure to comment.

He also showed extra love for Mock in a behind-the-scenes photo for Pose. He wrote,

“Honored to share any space with this history-making woman who just landed a landmark overall deal with Netflix to continue telling stories that matter. She’s the smartest, hardest working person I know. I’m so proud. I love you Janet. #poseFX“

They sure don’t mind commenting on each other’s photos.

Curiel saluted Mock, a transgender female who has made strides in the LGBTQ community when she covered an issue if Entertainment Weekly.

He wrote,

“Give my baby girl all the covers”

Meanwhile, Mock could still be legally married to her estranged husband, Aaron Tredwell.

The two married in 2015 and filed for divorce in February 2019. Mock confirmed the split with a statement.

“Aaron and I have decided to part. I’m grateful for the years we shared and will look back on them fondly. I appreciate your well wishes as we continue onward separately with enduring reverence.”

It’s not clear if the divorce is final yet.
