Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby Reveals She ‘Had A Little Breakdown’ Over Husband Michael’s Sexual Assault Charges, Co-Stars Respond ‘Karma Is A B**** Honey’

Ashley Darby and her husband Michael are in new baby bliss after welcoming their first child together last week.

But in Sunday night’s episode of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac, Ashley revealed that the accusations against her husband became too much for her at one point.

She revealed that one of the latest speculations, that include Michael being accused of sexually assaulting a cameraman, Orville Palmer, made her suffer a breakdown. Michael faced the rumors back in September after he allegedly

“grabbed and groped the butt of a cameraman.”

The rumored incident took place while Michael was taping a scene for the show.

He was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor improper sexual conduct, but a Montgomery County court judge tossed out the charges on October 4 because there wasn’t enough evidence.

In the episode, Ashley told co-star Gizelle Bryant,

“We had a preliminary case, and the judge threw it out. That isn’t new. I’m not worried about it. We’re actually stronger than ever.”

While she played it calm, cool and collected in front of Bryant, she took on a different attitude when talking to the cameras.

“To be completely candid, when I first got the notice, I had a little breakdown. I get very apprehensive talking about this, because it’s not my case. I don’t know all of the details of what happened, but it’s troubling.”

At the same time, her other co-stars shared what their side of what happened.
Monique Samuels said the moment happened during her celebration for her rainbow party that aired on July 7. She said,

“I remember that cameraman and I was wondering about that man. How humiliating is that, to have another grown man, old enough to probably be his grandfather, grope your butt, and you have to probably go tell your supervisor?”
“I’m just at a loss for words. This point, the only thing I can do is what I would want for me, which is for my close friends and my circle to encourage me. So I’m going to just encourage her. I really, truly feel bad for her. Whatever move she needs to make, I’m here.”
Karen Huger added,
“Consent is everything. [Palmer] is a very nice man.”

She also said she doesn’t,
“wish any ill.”

Robyn Dixon said,

“I really pray everything works out in their favor, but I pray it’s a lesson learned.”

Candiace Dillard chimed in with,

“I do feel bad for her. Like, damn, this cannot be easy for her.”

Still, Huger had more to say to Ashley’s face when the cast met for an event and discussed issues between each other.

“Karma is a b****, honey. The bar of soap? You might want to help your husband.”

Ashley clapped back with,

“As people who are close to me, I would love to tell you what is going on, but unfortunately, I cannot share it with you. I just encourage you to wait for the truth and wait for this to play out, because it shall.”

Meanwhile, Huger is blaming Bryant for her issues with Ashley.
