Cardi B Lashes Out at Lawyer Who Says She Treats Court Appearances Like The Runway ‘I Had To Be In Court So Early I Didn’t Brush My F***ing Hair!’ [VIDEO]

Cardi B is calling out a lawyer who has an issue with how she dresses for court. Over the weekend, she took to social media, responding in a social media video. She states,

“I’ve been really blessed lately, that’s why I haven’t been poppin my s*** how I talk my s***. But this has bothered me so much because I saw an article today that the lawyer of the people that are pressing charges on me… I don’t talk about my case but this really upset me because this lawyer gonna go to the press… mind you I haven’t been to court for like three weeks. He talked about the way I dress when I go to court, how my suits are from barney’s, my shoes are this and that. I treat my court appearances like a freaking runway.

“It’s like bro, I don’t dress inappropriately when I go to court. I dress like a young f***ing lady. Where am I supposed to get my suits from bro? H&M? Why are you worried about the way I dress? That just goes to show you, that y’all do this s*** for press. I went to court six times already for a f***ing misdemeanor bro! A misdemeanor!”

She went on to point out that she didn’t brush her hair for once court appearance, and explained why she was wearing a fur coat.

“There was even one time that I went to court, you can look for the pictures, that I went with no f***ing makeup on. Just chapstick. I woke up and had to be in court so bright and early I didn’t brush my f***ing hair. It was 14 degrees out… the only coats I have are a bubble coat or a fur coat. So I put on a fur coat and that’ still bothering you?”

“I understand if I’m showing my titties, I’m going to court wild and crazy, but it’s like you’re bothered because the way I dress. I cannot control that there’s a hundred cameras outside every single time I go to court…You go to the press. You be using my name for press. Y’all be making me go to court every single time because y’all want my name for press. But the way I dress bothers you? if I was a man, it would not bother you.”

She added that the lawyer is also an attorney for those who support prison reform, a cause Cardi said she’s stood behind.

“What’s crazy is, you’re a lawyer that represents artists that’s standing up for prison reform… something I’ve donated money to because I do believe the system treats unfairly… Black men and minorities. I got eaten up in February because I was seen with an NFL owner that is putting a lot of money for prison reform and you worrying about what a woman is putting on her body when she goes to court? Get outta here. I don’t say anything. I stay quiet when it comes on the case. I know it’s a very low-class case. But come on bro, you’re not gonna talk s*** about what I put on my f***ing body. That’s what we’re not gonna do. Get the f*** out of here.”

The Jasmine Brand previously reported that Cardi B has pleaded not guilty to the accusations against her. She’s facing charges that stem from a brawl at a strip club in College Point, Queens in August 2018. Cardi’s co-defendants, Tawana Jackson-Morel and Jeffrey Bush were also charged with misdemeanor assault. They’re accused of throwing glass bottles at two of the club’s bartenders during the alleged fight.

Cardi is being charged as the alleged mastermind behind the attack. She allegedly hired six people, in addition to Jackson-Morel and Bush to attack the two bartenders as rumors swirled they were sleeping with her husband, rapper Offset.
