Lizzo On Not Being Considered A Rapper ‘I Get Pissed That There Are People Who Call Future And Swae Lee Rappers’

Lizzo had a few things to get off her chest, and she threw in Future and Swae Lee as examples.

She addressed critics who challenge whether she’s a real rapper and wrote on Twitter Friday,

“Sometimes I get pissed that there are people who call future & sway lee rappers and still question whether or not I belong in the rap conversation.. but then I remember I have the #4 song in the country, laugh, go back to my dream job and log off”

She then added,

“I LOVE future & swae bruhhhhhh… the point went straight over y’alls heads… I’m just saying we all share a similar rap sing style…..I forgot that the internet is not the place for my emotions anymore… I love everybody good night”

She then told her followers to listen to Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” and Future’s album The Wizrd. 

It looks like the internet sided with Swae and Future on this one. Swae even started trending on Twitter as fans came to his defense.

This isn’t the first time she’s blasted Future on social media. Back in March she called him out amid rumors he banned plus-size women from a club he was appearing at in Miami. Lizzo wrote,

“Future don’t want big girls at the club?”
