Reality star/beauty mogul Kim Kardashian has been known to influence the make-up and fashion trends of the future with looks from the past. Her latest KKW Beauty drop is no exception. The Matte Smoke and Matte Cocoa Collections are inspired by the starlets of the 90s!

Weeks ago, she shared her PR list for the upcoming drop which teased the theme of the collection. The list included big names like Brandy, Monica, Alicia Silverstone, Lil Kim, Cindy Crawford, Janet Jackson, and Nia Long.

Kim K recently revealed that her own 90s style was a major inspiration for her cosmetics collection, as well. She shared dark-lipped, baggy-jeaned photos of herself from high school to her Instagram Story. She commented on the cyclical trends in the pics:

Her big sister Kourtney Kardashian even made an appearance in a trendy plaid flannel shirt!
