Phaedra Parks & Boyfriend Medina Islam Join ‘Marriage Boot Camp’, Phaedra Allegedly Wants To Move To Same City As Medina

Phaedra Parks has gone from starring in Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta to fighting for her rumored relationship on WeTV’s Marriage Boot Camp. 

According to reports, the former RHOA star and her alleged boyfriend, actor Medina Islam, are joining the WeTV show this season.

And while she and Islam just started dating a few months ago, they are reportedly already having issues, like Parks wanting to move from Atlanta to Los Angeles with her two sons so she and Islam can live in the same city.

This will be Parks’ latest regular spot on reality TV after exiting the popular Bravo series following a fallout with some of the co-stars during season 9 in 2017.

Islam is also no stranger to the small screen as he stars as Quincy in Tyler Perry’s Haves & Have Nots on OWN.

Reports that Parks and Islam are dating started back in July. She revealed she was dating someone after her brief relationship with radio personality Tone Kapone. Her romance with Kapone came after her divorce to Apollo Nida, who is the father of her two sons.

Parks said in July,

“I didn’t date for four years and so I put my foot into the man pond I guess about nine months to a year ago. I dated a guy and that didn’t quite work out and so I found another guy that’s more suitable for me and I’m quite excited and happy about him. He’s very smart, very intelligent. He’s kind, we are both socially active. He’s really sober and smart. He’s a great father. So I’m excited about it.”

While she didn’t mention Islam by name, several reports have said she was referring to him. They allegedly met through the Raya dating app. She added,

“We’ve been in the same circles for some years, but he heard that I was on this dating site and he joined to meet me. You choose someone and if they like you back, they send a rocket blast. And so the rocket blast came through and I answered the call.”

Reports of Parks and Islam’s role on Marriage Boot Camp come after theJasmineBRAND exclusively revealed other alleged cast members for the upcoming season.
