Beyoncé To Release Behind-the-Scenes Special For ‘The Lion King: The Gift’
Beyoncé has announced a special gift for her Beyhive along with fans of the iconic film, ‘The Lion King.’ Over the weekend (Sept 15th), the 37-year-old singer took to social media revealing her plans to air behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album The Lion King: The Gift.

In Beyoncé Presents: Making The Gift, she shares her in action as the album’s executive produced. She shares candid footage and interviews about each track on the album including the singer’s oldest child, 7-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

In addition, the special promises to provide an “intimate” look at the creation of The Gift, which features guests like Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Jay-Z, co-star Childish Gambino and an impressive roster of African musicians.
In a previous sit down, Beyoncé explained her motivation behind the soundtrack to the live-action remake, telling ABC:
“This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it.”

She continued,
“I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa. Incredible new sounds mixed with some of the producers from America.”
The special will air Monday night at 10 p.m. following Dancing With the Stars on ABC.
