Safaree Says He Never Snitched On The Men Who Robbed Him, Reacts To Tekashi Trial: People Called Him A Real 1 & They Thought I Was A Rat!

Safaree Samuels took to Twitter to address New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s legal issues while touching on being labeled a snitch following his armed robbery last year. On Wednesday (Sept 18th), the TV personality says he never called the authorities on the men responsible for the armed robbery despite being called a snitch. Safaree also compares his robbery fallout with Tekashi, who was later arrested for multiple federal charges in the same year. Safaree writes,

“It’s crazy the dudes who robbed me got caught on they own and J was being called a snitch. I didn’t call police, I never went to court but I was a joke and a snitch and seeing this whole 69 thing play out is crazy. At that time, he was the real one and I was a rat.”

He adds his issues with today’s society,

“This game is a popularity contest. Period. It doesn’t matter how real you are. In this day and age the fake is what succeeds. My circle the size of a period. I don’t need 20 hypemen with me to make me feel like a Star. I know what time it is. Unuh too badmind! Suck yah madda”

Safaree was robbed for almost $200k in cash and jewelry during his encounter with two men outside of his home in Fort Lee, New Jersey in April last year. Soon after, the former Love & Hip Hop star explained why he felt so emotional after being held at gun point during an interview.

“Seeing your life flash b4 you’re eyes is a life changing experience. Nothing funny about it. It’s probably only funny to ppl who don’t have anything or never experienced it. My uncle was killed in a robbery so when thinking about my situation all I think about is him. I’m not crying over lost jewelry, that’s material but being face and not knowing if you’re about to get shot in the back of your head is the most traumatic thing I’ve ever had to deal with.Thank God I’m still alive they want me broken but All they did was make a beast out of me!”

As previously reported, rapper 6ix9ine made his highly anticipated court appearance on Tuesday (Sept. 17th) confirming he’s a member of the Nine Trey Bloods and that they took part in activities such as

“Robberies, assaults, drugs…”
